Daniel wakes up in the morning to find a note on his bathroom mirror that says: “I have something you want” with an address attached. He goes to see his friend, Adison to help him figure out who wrote the note. Adison, being the more adventurous of the two, suggest that they visit the address and see what it is of Daniel’s they have. Upon arriving at the house, they break in and rummage through the things in search of what belongs to Daniel. While looking for his belongings, they run into Daniel’s ex-girlfriend, Jess. She admits to writing the note in order to lure him and Adison there to kill them out of jealousy.
After finalizing the script, location scouting, and casting actors, we were ready to film. Scenes were not shot chronologically but according to availability of location, actors, and sometimes even equipment. After each day of shooting, audio and video files were uploaded and edited so that each scene was thoroughly edited.
Throughout the editing process I found that I would often have to take out little noises so that the sound quality was smooth. One of the biggest challenges was removing loud wind from one of the scenes.
Another sound issue that I came across was the sound of the autofocus.Through research, I discovered that in order to remove all of those sounds, I had to make the software learn the sound and have it remove it.
Another part of my research included color grading. I chose to use orange highlights and blue shadows because the blue complements the orange; making the skin tones stand out, as the people in the scene were the most important.
